PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT)- On Friday, December 17th a Bono man was arrested in Paragould for allegedly burglarizing a home on Meadow Lane.
According to Paragould Police Department documents, Nicholas Dailey McCarroll, 29, was arrested after matching the description that another resident on Meadow Lane gave to police.
Police recovered several items from the burglary which were located in a duffel bag belonging to McCarroll. When police searched McCarroll they found a knife, a batting weapon, and a police-issue container of pepper spray. Also Paragould Police say they found 12 grams of a green leafy substance (which they believe to be marijuana), 11 hydrocodone tablets, a pipe and rolling papers on McCarroll.
McCarroll is facing charges of residential burglary, theft of property, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a weapon.
McCarroll's bond was set at $500,000 and he is scheduled to appear in circuit court January 28th.
