FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Lyndsay Harris scored 16 points and
hit four 3-pointers, all in the first half, to lead No. 22 Arkansas
to an 88-47 win over Furman on Tuesday night.
Ashley Daniels had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Razorbacks
The game was Arkansas' first since defeating No. 15 Oklahoma on
Dec. 19 and its final nonconference matchup before opening
Southeastern Conference play. The 12-0 start is the second-best in
school history, only behind a 15-0 start three seasons ago.
Arkansas opened on a 19-4 run, capped by jumper by Keira Peak.
The Razorbacks held the Paladins (6-6) to 30.3 percent shooting in
the first half on their way to a 44-23 halftime lead.
Kelly O'Connor led Furman with 10 points.
Sarah Watkins scored 12 points for Arkansas, Quistelle Williams
had 11 and C'eira Ricketts added 10.
