BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) – A man accused of murdering a pregnant woman in Mississippi County in January 2009, had his court date continued.

According to the Mississippi County Prosecutor's Office, Justin Mangum had his case continued to October 31.

Mangum is accused in the shooting death of Sonya Stokes on January 25, 2009. Stokes was 8-months pregnant at the time of the shooting. Mangum is charged with two counts of first degree murder.

In May 2010, a judge ruled that Mangum's confession to police was coerced and questioned the action of the Blytheville Police Department. The judge said police arrested Mangum without probable cause.

Mangum is currently out of jail on bond.
