Gunman allegedly robs Jonesboro convenience store

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro Police say a Jonesboro convenience store was robbed at gunpoint just before 4:00 a.m on Wednesday.  According to JPD, the robbery happened at the Kum and Go gas station at 4810 East Highland Ave.

Police say a black man walked in wearing a mask and pointed a gun at the clerk demanding money. They say the clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and he left. According to police, the clerk was too shaken up to provide any other description details about him or the getaway car.

Police say the surveillance video must be sent to Kum and Go headquarters and won't be available to investigators until tomorrow.

No one is injured from the robbery and police are still searching for the suspect.
