Bluegrass benefits awareness of Cerebral Palsy

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The 28th Annual Bluegrass Concert to benefit the United Cerebral Palsy of Northeast Arkansas was held Saturday at the Forum Theatre.

Over the last several years, the NEA Bluegrass Association has raised more than 60-Thousand Dollars. For six dollars a ticket, money was raised today to promote awareness of Cerebral Palsy.

Danny Shaw is the president of the NEA Bluegrass Association says he's not surprised by how much money has been has been raised by donations.

The NEA Bluegrass Association says they raise roughly two to three thousand dollars each year with their benefit concert.
