All they wanted to do was have a picnic, now they've ended up on CrimeStoppers.

Two suspects are wanted by Jonesboro police for cashing in a counterfeit check for groceries, and keeping the change: over $500 worth.

At a Jonesboro Wal-Mart on the 4th of July, the two suspects came in to the store to pick up some groceries. The only problem, they are going to cash a counterfeit check from J.C. Penny made out for just over $800.

Among the $270 worth of groceries that were purchased were ribs, baked beans, paper plates, napkins, drinks, and bug repellant.

39-year-old Bobby G. Emmons is wanted on:

  • 1 fail to appear
  • 1 non-payment of fines
  • 2 contempt of court warrants.

Christopher T. Brady is wanted for:

  • 1 3rd-degree escape warrant
  • 1 fail to appear warrant
  • 1 contempt of court warrant out of Trumann.
