New ASU assistant Tighe Dickinson to appear at Friday's Home Run Club meeting

JONESBORO (1/12/10) - The monthly meeting of the Arkansas State baseball Home Run Club will be held Friday at Front Page Café at 7 a.m. and will give members of the club and fans to meet ASU's new assistant coach Tighe Dickinson.

Dickinson will be the new pitching coach for the Red Wolves and brings 10 years of coaching experience to the Red Wolves including four years at the Division I level working as a pitching coach at the University of Washington. During his career, Dickinson has worked with numerous Major League Baseball prospects including 2010 MLB All-Stars Tim Lincecum, John Lester and Evan Meek.

All former and current members and those interested in becoming members of the Home Run Club are invited to the breakfast which will carry a cost of $6 and is open to the public.

Head coach Tommy Raffo and the ASU coaching staff will be in attendance at the meeting to cover topics including the upcoming season, spring practice and the Grand Slam Banquet.

Fans and members of the Home Run Club are encouraged to attend.
