Snow helps Arkansas police force make an arrest

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT)- Winter precipitation helped Paragould Police make an arrest after being called to a domestic disturbance.

According to police, Wesley Anderson, 34, was arrested during a disturbance call reported by a neighbor.

On January 10th Paragould Police responded to the call at South 13th Avenue.  When officers got to there they found no one in residence.  However, police say they did find broken glass and blood throughout the house and an opened window in the back.

According to the incident report, the police used the snow on the ground to track Anderson two blocks away where he was sitting on the ground covered in blood.  When officers tried to talk to Anderson, he ran leading them on a two block chase.

After the chase police say Anderson struggled with one officer, grabbing him by the throat.

Anderson is charged with domestic battering, resisting arrest and first-degree assault.  His cash-only bond was set at $25,000.
