  • Suicide Prevention

Suicide is the leading cause of death for teenagers and young adults.  About 5,000 teens commit suicide every year, and experts say many of those can be prevented.  Brandi Hodges shows you how our educators and school staff are taking extra steps to notice the signs of depression and help students in the area tonight on Region 8 News at 5 and 6.

Every Child Is Ours in Tuckerman sponsored a Literacy Fair this afternoon to help people in the community and show them what options are available to them. Amanda Hanson tells you more about the event and what it means for the town of Tuckerman tonight on Region 8 News at 6 and 10.
