Police investigate gun pulled on USPS worker

WHITE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A United State Postal Worker in Region 8 says someone pulled a gun on her while she was delivering mail.

According to the White County Sheriff's Department, the mail carrier said she was on Mt. Pisgah Road Friday, when a white male approached her truck and pointed a gun at her through the passenger side window.

The mail carrier sped off and was unharmed in the incident. The White County Sheriff's Department and the USPS are looking for a white male in his late teens or early 20's standing between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches, and clean cut.

The U.S. Postal Service is also investigating and is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to a conviction.
