More Ark snow on tap, but in lesser volume

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Forecasters say more snow is on the way and will start falling late tonight in the state's northwest. They also say it likely won't leave the state until Monday morning.

The new system is expected to drop only a couple of inches of snow in extreme north Arkansas and about an inch in central Arkansas.

There could be some freezing rain as the precipitation begins to fall, but it is expected to change over to snow relatively quickly.

Forecasters say high temperatures will be warm enough on Sunday and Monday that most roads should not be icy, except for bridges and some rural roads.
