GREENVILLE, Miss. --A gaming company is seeking a license to operate a casino near the Lake Village bridge over the Mississippi River.
The casino would be in Greenville, Mississippi. George Bozier of S-W Gaming says it would employ more than 300 people.
Bozier says the company has begun the process of applying for a license on 29 acres of property near the bridge. The property is being leased from Refuge Land Company.
The development would include a casino, lounge, restaurants and a hotel. There are currently two casinos in Greenville, the Bayou Caddy's Jubilee and Lighthouse Point.
