INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Cadaver dogs were recently used to search an Arkansas residence. Officers didn't find a body, but they did find meth.

Independence County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Daniel Willis and Wanda Mae Moody on conspiracy to possess meth.

Tonight, they're being held in the Pulaski County jail awaiting a federal court hearing.

According to Sheriff Steve Jeffery, after a lengthy investigation conducted by the Independence County Sheriff's Office and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, a search warrant was obtained to search the residence of Willis and Moody after investigators received a tip that a body was buried on the property.

Cadaver dogs were brought to the home on 45 Chow Lane in Batesville, but found no evidence to support the claim.

Officers did however locate several items of drug paraphernalia during the search.

Willis and Moody will be held at the Pulaski County jail until they can be brought before a Federal Magistrate.
