FAYETTEVILLE (NWAOnline.com) - Arkansas' basketball game with Georgia will be played as scheduled tonight, despite a winter storm that has hampered the region since Tuesday.
The game will tip-off at 8 p.m. inside Bud Walton Arena and will be televised on Comcast Sports South.
Because of a lack of anticipated attendance, the UA announced Wednesday that all students will be admitted into the game free with a university-issued identification card. Students are asked to enter on the arena's east side.
In addition, the UA said shuttles are expected to run as scheduled from lots 56 and 67 and for employees.
Tonight's game is a pivotal one, as it will mark the midway point of the Southeastern Conference season for both teams. The Razorbacks are 14-6 overall and 4-3 in the SEC following an 89-78 win at No. 19 Vanderbilt last weekend.
The Bulldogs are 14-6 overall and 3-4 in league play following a 66-60 loss at No. 10 Kentucky last Saturday.
Georgia has had trouble getting to Northwest Arkansas after a series of delays forced the team to spend the night in its home state Tuesday. The Bulldogs' team plane is scheduled to land at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport in Highfill shortly after noon today.
