Jonesboro armed robbery suspect arrested in Dallas

DALLAS, TX (KAIT) - On October 10 the Kum & Go Convenience Store on North Church Street in Jonesboro was robbed at gunpoint and Tuesday U.S. Marshals arrested the suspect in Dallas, Texas.

Christopher Lynn Carter was suspected of the robbery and a felony bench warrant was obtained. The Jonesboro Police Department requested assistance from the U.S. Marshall's East Arkansas Fugitive Task Force.

Carter moved to Jonesboro a few years ago from New Orleans and it was not long after that he was identified as the robbery suspect. He then fled and left Jonesboro.

He will be extradited back to Jonesboro on Aggravated Robbery charges.

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro Police want you to be on the lookout for a man named Christopher Carter who is wanted for the armed robbery of the North Church Street Kum and Go last October.

Investigators said on Wednesday he left his car at a day care on North Scott Street.

JPD said he should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see Carter, do not approach him. Instead, call CrimeStoppers at (870) 935-STOP.
