FORREST CITY, Ark.  --State police say three people from Mississippi and a fourth from Arkansas are dead after the collision of a tractor-trailer and a car.

The accident occurred Saturday afternoon on Interstate 40 in Saint Francis County, just east of Forrest City.

State police Corporal Lowry Astin said yesterday that the truck driver, 43-year-old Janice Moore of Gurdon, has been charged with four counts of negligent homicide. Police said the westbound truck Moore was driving crossed the median and collided with an eastbound car.

A police report said all the occupants of the car were killed. They were identified as 22-year-old Dina  Kay Roberts of Mabelvale and three Mississippians -- 55-year-old Earl Prentiss Ratliff, and 23-year-old twins Rita Jo Ann Brown and Christa Ratliff, all of Baldwyn, Mississippi.
