Pizza places gearing up for big weekend

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - When it comes to Super Bowl Sunday there are three things folks think about:  football, new commercials and food!

Pizza delivery drivers are gearing up for Sunday night!  Super Bowl Sunday is the busiest day of the year for pizza!  Over at the Pizza Hut on Parker Road, employees have spent the day getting extra boxes folded for the big day.

They've already ordered extra supplies for not only their store, but other stores in the area!

"We're never really in the store.  It's come in, you grab your bag, you go.  It's crazy!," said Pizza Hut delivery driver Adam Wheeless.

"I would say expect long wait times order ahead of time know what you want when you get here or when your order," said Pizza Hut Employee Mary Moody

Both suggest if you know you will be ordering pizza on Sunday you can go ahead and put in your order and what time you would like it delivered now instead of waiting.

Since they do expect it to be very busy the entire staff will be required to work on Sunday.
