Little Rock, Ark -- A research center at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock is planning a $14 million expansion.
The Arkansas Children's Hospital Research Institute will add about 20 labs and space for future expansion. The non-profit facility also will expand its animal research space and its clinical research unit, where outpatient drug trials are conducted.
The institute houses laboratory space for pediatric researchers from the hospital and from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
