2 arrested after car search reveals meth making items

BLACK ROCK, AR (KAIT) – Two people are behind bars after police find items to make meth in their vehicle.

According the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, 41-year-old Paul Eugene Jackson and 35-year-old Bennie Sue Green were parked in the middle of the street when police asked to search their vehicle. The sheriff's department also says deputies found pseudoephedrine and other items used to make meth.

Jackson and Green are charged with possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture. Bond is set at $5,000 each, and both are due in court on March 23.
