Valentine's breakfast offers food and fun for a special someone

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The annual "Sweetheart Breakfast" at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church offered a chance to express love to someone close with a hot homemade breakfast.

The United Methodist Women arrived bright and early on Saturday to cook a variety of fresh breakfast foods for those looking to spend time with a special someone. So what if breakfast in bed is your thing? Then take out plates were available as well.

"There have been people taking things to go, people coming in, sitting and visiting and renewing old friendships." says Nan Nelson, pastor of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

There was no charge to eat but donations were accepted and the proceeds went to work toward missions.
