Man stabs brother after domestic disturbance

GAMALIEL, AR (KAIT) - A domestic disturbance in Baxter County leads to a man stabbing his brother in the stomach.

According to the Baxter County Sheriff's Office Travis Clary was arguing with his wife and his brother Timothy Clary, tried to break up the argument. Statements gathered from the scene show that it was after that Travis stabbed his brother in the stomach once then fled out the back door.

A call was received from the Bayou Resort in Gamaliel and shortly after Baxter County authorities and Arkansas State Police arrived on scene. Travis was arrested without further incident after he was found hiding in the woods behind the resort.

Travis John Clary was charged 1st Degree Domestic Battery and Fleeing an Officer. He is currently being held at $50,000 bond.
