West Memphis, AR -- Federal agents searched a West Memphis apartment and convenience store today and detained at least one person.
Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Internal Revenue Service and the Immigration & Naturalization Service searched the apartment and detained a man. The man then sat in a police car while agents searched the Bull Market convenience store.
At least 20 agents were on the premises. About 15 West Memphis police officers, including a SWAT team, set up a perimeter around the store. Law enforcement officers on the scene said agents questioned several people inside the business. The officers said some of those being questioned were expected to be detained.
