LUXORA, Ark. -- Two teens that escaped the Mississippi County Detention Center early Wednesday morning are now back in custody, both arrested in Osceola.

Sixteen-year-old Julius Yankaway escaped the detention center in Luxora during the early morning hours with 17-year-old Kuntrell Jackson.

Yankaway was taken into custody by law enforcement before 5 p.m. Wednesday south of Osceola. Jackson was arrested in a field in the Osceola city limits just after 5:30 p.m.

Jackson was convicted in April for his role in the 1999 murder of Laurie Troup, a Blytheville video store clerk killed in an attempted robbery.  He was awaiting transfer to the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Yankaway is suspected of capital murder in connection with a shooting incident that occured in Wilson in August of 2002 in which one person was killed and two others were injured.
