Little Rock's Jimmy Doyle and Branson's Rebecca Dawn are the next guest stars on the Gene Williams Country Television Show sponsored by Lucas Oil Products seen in 11 markets.
"Jimmy Doyle's in North Little Rock is the Arkansas version of Gilley's in Texas. I tease him about being the next Mickey Gilley. Jimmy Doyle is the ultimate entertainer. He's funny and a great singer," said Williams. "Rebecca Dawn, accomplished entertainer, singer and song writer, can be seen at Charlie's Steak Ribs and Ale has opened for such acts as the Judds, Merle Haggard and Highway 101," Williams said.
Rebecca Dawn will be on the broadcast on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 10:30 p.m. on WB 31 in the Springfield/Branson/Harrison markets; Saturday, Aug. 16 at 6 a.m. in Little Rock/Fort Smith and Shreveport, La. on Channel 4 KARK/NBC and Jonesboro, Ark., Dallas, Texas and Memphis, Tenn. on Channel 8 KAIT/ABC at 5 p.m.; and Saturday, Aug. 23 on WB 58 Nashville at midnight and Fox at 11:30 p.m.

Williams, the creator of the only weekly television show taped in Branson about Branson, is an inductee to the Memphis Music Hall of Fame and has worked with greats like Johnny Cash, the Statler Brothers, Carl Perkins, the Carter Family, Charlie Walker, Del Reeves, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, Bill Carlisle, Johnny Carver, Tommy Cash, Claude King, Ronnie Session, Little Jimmy Dickens and more. He is credited with blazing many trails for country music television and will be featured in his own prime time special set to air during KAIT's 40th anniversary.
Katie Lynn, an award winning vocalist who has held the Branson Entertainment Awards Best Support Vocalist for the past three years for her work in the Mickey Gilley Show, is Gene's co-host. Sarah Zapp, popular television anchor out of Little Rock, brings a report about Nashville each week.
