ASU Bowling 4th after second day of Holiday Intercollegiate Classic

Bessemer, Ala. (2/26/11) — The sixth-ranked Arkansas State women's
bowling team posted a 3-2 record on the second day of action at the
Holiday Collegiate Classic in Bessemer, Ala. Saturday to land fourth
in the tournament field.  The Red Wolves stand second in total
pinfall.

ASU came out firing on all cylinders as it took wins over Nebraska,
South Carolina State and Alabama A&M to open the day.  However, the
Red Wolves fell to Stephen F. Austin and Central Missouri in matches
four and five.

"We had some bad breaks but didn't play our best in those final two
matches today," said ASU head coach Justin Kostick.  "If we win
tomorrow, we still have a shot at winning the tournament so we're
ready to come out and play hard."

Action at the Holiday Collegiate Classic will wrap up Sunday afternoon.
