Father & Daughter Die in Lawrence County Accident

PORTIA, Ark. -- A father and his daughter are dead as the result of a three-vehicle accident in Lawrence County.

The accident happened at approximately 5:15 p.m. on U.S. 63 between Portia and Hoxie, when a southbound sport utility vehicle (SUV) driven by Chad Oliver, 37, of Ash Flat, crossed the center line and swiped a pick-up truck driven by Kenneth Gosha before colliding head-on with a northbound 18-wheeler driven by 66-year-old Ronald Mills of Rolla, Missouri.

The accident claimed the life of Oliver and his nine-year-old daughter, Camillia, also of Ash Flat.

Injured in the wreck were Mills, and Becky Oliver, 34, a passenger in the SUV.
