JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Two armed robberies have happened in Jonesboro overnight. According to Lt. Steve McDaniel, two black men robbed a customer and clerk at gunpoint at the Kum & Go on Southwest Dr.
According to Lieutenant Steve McDaniel, two men robbed a customer and clerk at gunpoint at the Kum & Go on Southwest Dr. and Culberhouse Rd. around 2:30 Monday morning. Not too far away, the Country Mart on Southwest Dr. was also hit around 11 p.m. Sunday. And, on Saturday, two men also robbed Firehouse Subs on Southwest Dr. at 10 p.m. Saturday.

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- CrimeStoppers received a donation of $1,000 on Thursday in Jonesboro.
A check from Carla Flemon of BancorpSouth was presented to Ben Massey, President of the CrimeStoppers Board of Directors.
Massey says the donation will typically go to the general operating fund which will allow the organization to reward tips that come through the Jonesboro Police Department, CrimeStoppers' primary sponsor.
CrimeStoppers, to date, is responsible for 536 arrests. You can watch CrimeStoppers every Tuesday night on Region 8 News at 10pm.
