JONESBORO, Ark. (3/5/11) – Saturday's baseball game between Arkansas State and Creighton, originally scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start, has been postponed due to poor weather conditions and heavy rainfall in the Jonesboro area that has made the Tomlinson Stadium field unplayable today. A-State, which also had to postpone the weekend series opener Friday due to inclement weather, will now play the Bluejays in a double-header Sunday starting at 1:00 p.m. at Tomlinson Stadium.
A 4:00 p.m. game Monday between Arkansas State and Creighton is being discussed as a possible option to complete the three-game series, but the final determination on Monday will not be made until this afternoon at the earliest. All updates surrounding a possible third game on Monday, as well as any further changes to this weekend's baseball schedule for the Red Wolves, will be posted on the official web site of Arkansas State Athletics, AStateRedWolves.com.
