Wine bottle opener recalled due to laceration hazard

WASHINGTON, DC (KAIT) - A wine bottle opener is being recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for fear of laceration to the hands.

The opener is a "skybar™ Air Pump Wine Opener" with model number NBSKWA2600.  According to the CPSC, distributor Sunbeam Products Inc. has received reports of wine bottles breaking while the opener was being used on them.

Shopping channel QVC has sold the openers online and on television from November 2010 to December 2010.  If you have this opener you are urged to stop using it immediately. 

Also if you have bought this opener through QVC, then you may have received refund instructions in the mail-if not you can contact QVC at www.qvc.com.

So far there have been 22 reports of injury from these wine openers.
