WASHINGTON, DC (KAIT) – The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling Holiday Rattle Baby Slippers due to choking hazards.

According to the CPSC, Holiday Rattle Baby Slippers sold exclusively at Walgreens are being recalled because the internal stuffing and rattle inside the slipper can be pulled out posing a choking hazard.

Atico International USA Inc. received a report of a 7-month-old baby beginning to turn blue with the slippers' stuffing in its mouth. They also received two additional reports of babies pulling the stuffing out as well, but no injuries were reported.

The recalled slippers are decorated with stuffed fabric figures including snowmen, Santa, reindeer, and penguins, and have decorative rattles inside the slippers that sound like bells when shaken.

Consumers are asked to stop using the slippers and return them to any Walgreens locations for a full refund.
