GREENE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Officials with the Greene County Road Department are still repairing the damage from last month's heavy rain.
Greene County Judge Jerry Shipman says his county was declared a disaster by the state of Arkansas, after more than 20 culverts and one bridge was washed out by flood waters.
Shipman says an estimated $200,000 in damage was done to the roads.
Road department officials finalized the paperwork for future funding on Tuesday.
Shipman says an estimated 65 to 70 miles of road were damaged.
