Former Sharp County real estate developer back in court

SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Wayne Watkins was back in court Wednesday. The former Sharp County Real Estate Developer entered a not guilty plea in Sharp County Circuit Court.

Watkins is accused of theft by deception.

Court documents for the prosecution state Watkins did not provide a deed to a piece of property the plaintiffs paid for.

Instead, they claim Watkins sold the property to Region's Bank.

Watkins' next court date is October 6th.
