Region 8 company hiring for 500-700 positions

MARMADUKE, AR (KAIT) – One Region 8 company is adding jobs thanks to an increase in railcar demand.

According to American Railcar Industries Human Resources Director Dean Inman, ARI plans on adding between 500-700 jobs at its plants in Marmaduke, Paragoud, and Kennett by the end of 2011.

Inman said the company is looking for a variety of workers from laborers, to painters, to welders.

Inman tells Region 8 News that the jobs are based on current order, not expectations. Inman said the company will begin to immediately recruit for these open positions.
