BROOKLAND, AR (KAIT) - Following a three-week long investigation, Craighead County sheriff's deputies have shut down a suspected meth lab.

According to Justin Roland with the sheriff's department, on Thursday, March 17, deputies went to a home on County Road 938 just east of Brookland where they found an active meth lab and three grams of finished product.

Roland added there was enough material at the site to make 10 to 20 grams of methamphetamine.

Deputies arrested 37-year-old James Gann and 43-year-old Kimberly Roberts. Both are in the Craighead County Detention Center facing multiple drug charges.

The Brookland Police Department and the Second District Judicial Task Force assisted in the arrests and lab seizure.
