One third of ASU Herald's Thursday publication stolen

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Thursday night, about one-third of the ASU Herald's Thursday edition disappeared shortly after they were delivered.

According to the Herald Editor in Chief, Sarah Campbell, all of the papers from six different locations across campus were stolen.

Campbell says though the papers are free, they still lose money when papers are stolen.

"It's a serious problem and even if we are a free publication, it doesn't mean people can take multiple copies of the paper and especially not all the papers in a certain location," Campbell said.

The papers went missing from boxes at the Chickasaw Building, Post Office, Wilson Hall, the Dean B. Ellis Library and two locations in the Communications/Education Building.

Campbell says they did reprint 2,000 copies of the Herald.
