Region 8 group is looking for local involvement in fighting drug abuse

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- Members of the Out of the Dark organization in Region 8 are looking for more community involvement in the fight against prescription drug abuse.

The group will hold a town hall meeting called "Local Level Up" at the Huntington Building in Jonesboro.  Several students from area schools will speak as well as Out of the Dark members about the prescription drug problem in the area.

The group's founder Charles "Skip" Mooney, Jr. says the meeting is being held to get an idea of the public's knowledge on the problem.

The "Local Level Up" town hall meeting will be on Monday, March 28th starting at 6pm.  Anyone is welcome to attend.
