Missouri Unemployment benefits

A state audit report is favorable to Missouri's Governor Holden's veto of a bill that would have allowed a bond issue to support the trust fund that pays unemployment benefits.

Auditor Claire Mccaskill says if the bill went into effect, employers would end up paying about 34 million dollars more than by financing the full unemployment trust fund insolvency through the U.S. Department of Labor.
