Drugs and paraphernalia found in Region 8 home

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) – Two Forrest City residents were arrested after officers said they found drugs and paraphernalia inside their home.

Officer with the Forrest City Police Department said they executed a search warrant at the home of Markie Randle, 35, and Tasha Holloway, 27, at 712 Cherry St.

During the search, officers said they found a plastic bag containing 14 individual packages of Crack Cocaine weighing approximately 1.9 gram, a small amount of Marijuana, scales, plastic baggies, and a loaded hi-point 9mm gun. 

Randle was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver near certain facilities (crack cocaine), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by certain person, and simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm. A parole warrant was issued for Randle.

Holloway had no prior arrests and was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver near certain facilities (crack cocaine), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were scheduled to appear in St. Francis District Court.

Randle does have a criminal history for drug possession and is currently on parole for drug charges.
