Car show cranks up at the Convo

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The rainy weather either had no effect or drove people to the 22nd Annual Lion's Club Car Show at the Convocation Center on Saturday.

Over 140 classic cars of all different types were on display to raise money for the city of Jonesboro. Brad Baker, President of the Lion's Club says that this was great weather for an indoor car show, "we hoped for a big crowd and it has been a big turnout so far, if people keep coming then we will keep raising a lot of money for our community."

The car show will be open on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is expected to earn around $15,000 for different things around the city.
