Compliance check lands 2 in Cross Co Jail

CROSS COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A compliance check by police lands 2 people in jail on multiple drug charges.

According to the Cross County Sheriff's Department, a compliance check at the intersection of Highway 193 and Highway 364 Saturday, leads to the arrest Olen Welch and Jennifer Scroggins.

Police say the two are charged with possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and drinking on the highway.

A judge set their bonds at $5,000 each.
