Three arrested for stolen items, drugs, carrying a handgun

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) – Forrest City Police arrested three and found stolen items, drugs, and a gun while executing a search warrant.

According to the Forrest Police Department, officers executed a search warrant at the home Cadeshiyah Patillo, 19, of 726 N. Izard. Officers said they also found 39-year-old Thabiti Steward of Forrest City 19-year-old Terrance Denkins of Houston, TX inside.

While searching through the home, officers said they found a loaded .38 caliber Charter Arms handgun with a defaced serial number; a total of $4,000 in property reported stolen by FCPD and the Kansas City, MO police department; and a small amount of Marijuana.

Cadeshiyah Patillo was charged with possession controlled substance - Marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver - Hydrocodone, possession of a defaced firearm, theft by receiving over $2,500 and a failure to appear warrant for $1,081.57 issued out of St. Francis District Court.

Thabiti Steward, was charged with possession controlled substance - Marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver - Hydrocodone, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a firearm by certain person, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearm, and theft by receiving over $2,500. Steward is currently on parole for a 2001 robbery charge. A Parole Warrant was issued.

Terrance Denkins was charged with possession of a controlled substance - Marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver- Hydrocodone, possession of a defaced firearm, and theft by receiving over $2,500.

Patillo, Steward, and Denkins are scheduled for arraignment in St. Francis District Court Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m.  Abatement proceedings have begun on all three.
