Battle over budget continues

WASHINGTON D.C. (KAIT) - There seems to be some hope in Washington over the possibility of a budget deal being reached before the federal government shutdown.

President Obama spent Wednesday night meeting with House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on negotiations to avoid a government shutdown.

President Obama thinks the meeting was constructive but there is still no deal reached.
