DUNKLIN COUNTY, MO (KAIT)- A Kennett man is found guilty of attempting to manufacture methamphetamine in July 2009.

On April 8th a jury found that Robbie Huffman had tried to make meth by compiling ingredients used to create the drug.  The decision came down after twenty-five minutes of deliberations.

Prosecutors argued that Huffman had intended to make the drug because of the materials found at his home and that he attempted to hide evidence from officers.  Another man, Christopher Crittendon was also at Huffman's residence when officers arrived.  Crittendon had pled guilty earlier.

Due to Huffman's criminal history, which includes a previous meth production conviction, he could face a minimum of ten years in prison without parole.  Huffman will be sentenced on May 11th.
