Clark Summons Staff

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Retired General Wesley Clark has summoned members of his political team to Little Rock to discuss a possible run for the presidency. A New Hampshire activist invited to the meeting says he hasn't been told the reason for the meeting.

However, George Bruno says, ``I think we know what this is about.'' Another of the invitees told the associated press this afternoon that he was told it was a ``99 percent certainty'' that Clark would enter the 2004 race, but that the ex-general wanted to finalize plans tomorrow.

For the past week, the Arkansas resident has been aggressively recruiting staff. His earliest allies would be former members of President Clinton's political network -- though it is not clear who would have what campaign roles.
