LITTLE ROCK, Ark. --Krispy Kreme doughnuts says it will build a franchise in west Little Rock that should be open for business in early 2004.
The company says it has purchased property to build a four-thousand-square-foot store. Groundbreaking is scheduled for early next month.
The store is expected to employ about 65 people. The company said that in addition to doughnuts and coffee, the Little Rock store will offer a line of flavored espresso-based drinks, frozen drinks and milk.
Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based Krispy Kreme has more than 310 stores in 41 states and in Australia and Canada.
