Two Northeast Arkansas schools will move in the 2012 AAA reclassification

LITTLE ROCK (KAIT) - The Arkansas Activities Association released the 2012-2014 Classification Numbers Friday afternoon.

Two schools in Northeast Arkansas will move for the 2012 school year.

Osceola will drop down to 3A after spending six seasons in the 3-4A. Their enrollment is 286, the 4th highest in the classification.

Tuckerman will drop down to 2A after competing in the 3-3A. The Bulldogs will have the highest enrollment in 2A with 190 students.

Across the state, Van Buren will move up to 7A, Greenwood and Siloam Springs will also move to 6A. Shiloh Christian will drop to 3A after playing in 4A. The Saints are expected to petition the move.
