Mo. fisherman drowns on Table Rock Lake

TABLE ROCK LAKE, Mo. (AP) - A 37-year-old Fenton man has drowned after passing out and falling into the water while fishing on Table Rock Lake in southwest Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol identifies the victim as 37-year-old Dennis Lance, who was fishing with another man when he fell into the lake around 3:05 p.m. Friday.

Officials say Lance was not wearing a life jacket. The Patrol says he was pulled from the water and received CPR, but was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stone County coroner.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
