Boil order notice in effect for residents in Lawrence Co. Reg Water Dist.

UNDATED (KAIT) – The Arkansas Department of Health has issued a boil order as a precautionary measure for residents and businesses in the Lawrence Co. Reg Water Dist. east of the Black River due to a main break.

This water may be unsafe for human consumption.  Those using water for drinking or food preparation must boil water briskly for one minute prior to use. Residents should discard all ice cubes and use only boiled water to make ice.

This boil order will remain in effect until the problem is corrected.
