Couple arrested by Cross County Sheriff's Office for having meth

CROSS COUNTY, AR (KAIT)- Two Region 8 residents were arrested Thursday on felony drug charges following a traffic stop.

According to the Cross County Sheriff's Office, Monte Rodgers, 43 of Wynne and Sherry Wells, 48 of Jonesboro were arrested and charged with multiple felonies Thursday.

The charges for Rodgers includes Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth), Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Wells' charges are Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth) and not wearing a seat belt. 

Bond for Rodgers and Wells was set at $7,500.00.
