Residents begin teaming together to help flood victims

WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) – Residents begin teaming together to help victims of recent flooding in parts of Region 8.

Dr. Rebecca Edwards in Walnut Ridge teamed up with 103.9 The Game and the Salvation Army to raise donations and supplies for those affected by flooding in Lawrence County.

The focus of the drive is on cleaning supplies, towels, and hand sanitizer, anything that can help clean up the mud, mold, and bacteria left behind by the waters.

The drive is going on at Dr. Edward's office in Walnut Ridge until 6pm Friday night. If you can't make it tonight, you can still help by dropping off your donations at the Game Station in Gibson Switch.
